"ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS."

"Yes, we can," has officially been replaced.  Boy, sooner than I had expected - but knew.

"Arizona Governor Said to Be Pick For Homeland Security Post" -Washington Post

The Post article goes on with information about the Governor for a while and ends with "She fist came to national prominence in 1991 when she served as a lawyer for Anita Hill in her sexual harassment case against then-nominee and later Supreme Court Justice, Clarence Thomas."

So, Napolitano became famous for running the "political lynching" (Thomas' own words) of Justice Thomas?!  Let's run a comparative analysis of the Hill case versus the Paula Jones case.

Anita Hill and the Democrats made accusations against Clarence Thomas that resulted in NO indictment, NO conviction, and NO payoffs to Hill, BUT was a great attempt to slander a black American. I thought they were the Party for minorities?  No Democrat has apologized to Thomas.

Paula Jones (and any lawyer that likes to make money on a sure win) made accusations against Bill Clinton that resulted in an indictment and a payoff worth $850,000!  No one pays anyone unless they are guilty.

In sum, Ken Starr is harangued by the media for chasing a guilty man, but the Post sees Napolitano's pursuit of an innocent black man who became only the second minority to occupy the Marble Palace in over 200 years as a noteworthy moment in her life that bolstered her career.  These are so many wrongs associated with that.

Mitt Romney's article in yesterday's NY Times is definitely worth reading.
The guy has a remarkably successful business resume.  Does rescuing economic tragedy of the Utah Winter Olympic games and turn it into a profit ring a bell?  If you do not remember then click this for the LA Times article to refresh your memory.

Funny...I don't remember the LA Times (specifically Abrahamson) reflecting upon Romney's 2002 success during the 2007-08 Republican primaries...hmmm.

The video to the immediate right of this article is a stark reminder about the necessity of NOT leaving Iraq until it's stabilized, which is something Obama is NOT committed to doing. Let me provide a simple analogy that will put the entire Iraq conflict into proper perspective:

Dave's friend came over to Tom's house to help him kill a rodent that was eating up the entire garden. Dave killed the rodent and left, but he departed without teaching and providing Tom with preventative measures to avoid the encroachment of another inevitable rodent who preys on young, weak unprotected gardens. As such, another rodent came to Tom's garden a month later and destroyed everything.

Americans need to avoid their natural propensity towards shortsightedness and recall the (ongoing) decolonization process in Africa, the Middle and Latin America - particularly in nations where the colonial power simply packed their bags and departed. Additionally, what about Afghanistan? I know most Americans watched "Charlie Wilson's War."
Washington Post article titled...

"Finding His Inner FDR:  Obama's model to emulate should be more FDR than Lincoln."

Wow.  Remember the Socialist movement was very prevalent throughout the world from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s, and while the US did not fully adopt the transitions that other countries did, the intelligentsia certainly did.

Richard Cohen, the author, I would guess attended undergrad at Vassar, then completed some form of graduate work at Columbia.  No surprise he sees FDR as a hero; no one betrayed capitalism in America more than he...at least until Congress acquiesced Paulson's bailout request.

Saturday Night Live chose never to run this skit...
